Fenway's Triple Crown (Son of FC AFC Esprit's Power Play and Viking's Calamity Kate MH) owned by John and Martha Russel WON back to back derbies. Yaz won Red River Retriever Club of Texas on March 4, 2011, and the derby at Wichita Falls Retriever Club on March 11, 2011.
"First of all Congrats on all the success of your puppies, that has got to be a great feeling as a breeder to know that they are having such great success. I talked to my pro today and she told me again that she has never seen a dog mark as good as Cowboy. He runs 100 mph and she said he not 1 foot left or right of every mark. He just steps on every bird. She always thinks he is going to blow by them because he is running so fast but just locks up the brakes when he reaches the bird like he knows the exact blade of grass where it is laying. Pretty neat to have such a special dog!" -Colt Hamilton
Tremblin Earth's Cosmic Rider (FC AFC Esprit's Power Play and Viking's Calamity Kate MH) owned by Katharine Simonds won fourth in the Open at Central Savannah River Area Retriever Club on March 18, 2011. "Tremblin Earth's Mr. Walker (T-Bone). T-Bone is 9 weeks old here running a 50 yard mark with a drake duck...I just LOVE how he comes back and turns around looking for more!!! I have two pups from the litter, T-Bone and Grace (Bear Branch Simply Amazing BLF). Both are extremely intelligent, very athletic, and marking machines. Believe it or not both of these pups at 9.5 weeks old now are running to a bumper pile and retrieveing to hand four or five times in succession on the back command. The breeding/pre-programming of these pups is unreal. I wish I had a kennel full of pups like them!" Future Field Champion
"Ruff (FC AFC Woodrivers Franchise X Beau Chene Meilleur Ami MH) is doing great. He is marking at 60 yds in short grass and flat terrain. Loves to retrieve, and has a great personality. We are hoping to get him consistent at 100 yds in the next couple weeks. We have thrown a few teal for him and the feathers make him crazy for the marking. He is exactly what we had hoped for. Rebels First Hunt (AFC Van Gogh IV X MV Prairie's Cinnamon Stix JH)
Mr. Bo,
Just wanted to stop by and tell you thanks again. Like I just told Mr. Bobby, Rebel did great this morning. We hunted the marsh and it will probably be one of his toughest hunts he will ever go on. It would have been a difficult hunt for any dog, much less a young dog on his first hunt. But in the end he picked up 3 limits of ducks and he enjoyed every second of it. Thank you so much again for the opportunity to own this dog. He is a real pleasure to be around every day. I hope all is going well with Mrs. Jane as well. Tell her thanks for everything to. I will be in touch throughout the season and whenever I take pictures I will be sure to send them your way.
